Eyelash Extensions, Lash Lifting

What’s the difference between eyelash extensions and lash lifting? Where to begin?! While lash lifts are one alternative to eyelash extensions, both aim at beautifying your eyelashes. However, the way each service does that varies widely. So it's good to know the facts about each. Eyelash lifting is performed with non-harmful chemicals on your natural lashes to break down structural bonds and reform them. Eyelash extensions involve salon-grade eyelash extension glue along with eyelash extensions that are individually placed onto each of your natural lashes. Eyelash extensions allow you to add length and volume to your natural lashes. This is possible because of the addition of an extension to your natural lashes. Extensions come in different lengths, thicknesses, and curls. With these options, you can completely change the look of your natural lashes during an eyelash extension session. With eyelash extensions, there is no need to wear mascara. You can wake up with Hollywood ready lashes without the makeup crew. Getting a full set of lashes can take up to two hours. Lash lifting adds curl to your lashes but will not add length or volume. The curl is created in a three-step process that breaks down the bonds of your natural hair and reforms them. The results of lash lifting are wholly dependent on your natural lashes. The great thing about lash lifting is the variety of eyelash rods and eye pads. With this variety, we are able to perform lash lifts on almost any client. This means you can see results whether you have short or long lashes & whether you have sparse or thick lashes. A lash lifting session takes about one hour. The one similarity between the two services is aftercare. For 24 hours after each service, you cannot get your lashes wet and you must avoid heat, steam, & any type of mechanical friction on your lashes.
