Eyelash extensions, like regular hair, require maintenance. This includes brushing eyelash extensions regularly. It is recommended to brush them routinely. Brushing can be done as part of your morning and evening routine. Keeping a clean mascara wand on you at all times is convenient for brushing throughout the day when you start to notice your lashes turning into each other. With day-to-day experience, you'll know when to brush eyelash extensions. Brushing eyelash extensions is important to break down any pollen, dust, or makeup buildup. The mechanical brushing will break them down and brush them away from your eyes. Brushing your extensions is part of standard eyelash extension hygiene and will help minimize your chances of irritation or infection. Brushing your extensions will also help maintain the consistent look of perfect lashes as it promotes uniform directionality of extensions. When brushing your lashes, it is important to start at the middle of the extension and brush outward or away from your eyes. Do Not start brushing at the base of your extensions – this could lead to the extension base catching on the mascara wand and popping off or ripping off – ouch!  Brush both the top and the bottom of the extension for thorough care.
