Eyebrow Tinting & Eyelash Tinting at Chic Lash Boutique

Eyelash and brow tinting creates more definition and enhances the appearance of your lashes and brows. The process is fast (about 10-15 minutes) and the difference can really be noticeable, especially if your colors are very light or are out of sync. Some of the most common questions we receive are: How long does the tint last? Generally it lasts 3-4 weeks. to prolong the life of the tinting, I recommend avoiding oil-based moisturizers, cleansers, wipes and exfoliating- doing so could prolong the life of the tinting by a week or more. What is the process? During a brow tinting, we first apply Vaseline to the skin surrounding the hair. This protects the skin and prevents the dye from bleeding onto it. Then the tint is painted directly onto the brow. The dye takes about 10 minutes to set, and any residue is gently removed with a wet cloth. The lash process is very similar except it takes approx. 20 minutes for the tinting because a protective pad is placed under the lashes to cover the skin below. Generally we allow the dye to set for 7 minutes before applying additional coats. Who is the best candidate for tinting? Tinting is good for everyone! Especially true for those with lashes and brow hairs that are naturally light in color, or don’t match your main hair color.  Those with gray/white or faded lashes and brows that are tough to see without daily application of mascara or brow pencil. Some say like they look YOUNGER after tinting! How much does tinting cost? Our lash tinting services are only $15 and eyebrow tinting is $20.
